We ran 6 dogs this morning, it worked out well but birds are getting experienced and jumpy - some of the younger dogs and even some of the more experienced dogs are having a hard time pinning birds.
Tripp - Pointed a bird and ran over another - but he worked and handled well.
Lily - Pointed 2 birds - broke at flush - handled like she was on a string
Mac - Two nice honors - held through the flush.
Maggie - Had a few unproductives but also held while two birds flushed and 3 dogs ran around her in circles - I was pleased with this.
Dolly - Pointed a bird - is making progress towards being broke but still needs corrections on a regular basis.
Otto - Was actually hunting well today - still close to the horses but showed the most initiative he has in some time.
We had business in Mobridge so we were unable to run this evening.
