Struggling

We are trying to get more done with the young dogs - working pen raised birds and taking them on the section roads and dumping them out on birds we see - some are doing well, some still need work.

Eleanor - Broke dog that is a sweetheart

Cooper - Still working in very comfortable foot hunting range - broke on pen raised birds

Okie - Broke dog that is still doing well

Preston - Standing broke to the shot on pen raised birds, still struggling with wild birds

The bottom line is that due to the drought and other factors (standing crops) we are not getting the bird contacts we normally get and the dogs are not as well advanced as usual this time in the previous years.
